Does Rotcelis Rose Photography have a brick + mortar studio?No! I work completely remotely for Rotcelis Rose Photography. However that means that the world is our back drop! If you do not have an ideal location in mind for your shoot, check out my list of favorite places to shoot around the RDU!

Will you travel outside of Durham for a photo shoot?Yes, however, additional travel fees will apply for anything 30 miles outside of 27703. Exact fees will be determined using Google Maps.

What rights do I have to my photos?You have the right to reprint images whenever you want. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of Rotcelis Rose Photography.

What’s the best time of day to shoot?Preferably early mornings or late afternoon when the sun is not at its highest.

Can I bring a friend with me to my photo shoot?Yes, one additional person on set is fine, however, if your session is not a family session, so that I can optimize our time please no kids during shooting!

Should I have hair and makeup professionally done?This is an option but VERY much encouraged. Consider your portraits to be an investment. And depending on your social and business platform, these may be re-used quite often. If you do not already have a vendor in mind, let me know! I have a BOMB network of make-up artists and hairstylists to link you with.

What should I wear?If you are shooting solo, this is your time to shine! Clothes and garments are a great way to express creativity! However in groups, you want to avoid having everyone wearing “matchy matchy” clothes. Instead coordinate color variations based on your desired shooting location. Creating a color scheme or pallette makes this easier to decide. Create a mood board or vision board on pinterest to bring your wardrobe ideas to life.

How do I pose?It’s all about being your best natural self whether it's laughing, giving face, or striking your best-practiced mirror pose. I'll direct and pose you as needed.

How soon will I receive my photos?The proofing gallery link will be sent to you within 10 to 14 business days of the session. You may print photos at your leisure. Editing includes color correction and light skin smoothing to all photos. If photos are required sooner, please consult prior to booking your session to ensure time permits. A $85.00 expedition fee may apply.

What if I am late or need to cancel?Client is allowed a grace period of 15 minutes with notification. If client does not show up within 15 minutes of the start time the photographer will have the right to leave. Client may reschedule, however there will be a $50 convenience fee. In the event that the weather conditions are not desirable for the shoot, the session will be rescheduled at no additional charge.
